3. UX Teacher & mentor
For 2 years I had the opportunity to volunteer at ReDi School teaching UX design to women who were immigrants or refugees in Denmark. In the course we talked about Design Thinking and covered most of the phases to develop a digital product.
Afterwards I mentored them to help them find their way in the Danish IT field and land a job.
4. Team lead
During my career as UX designer I have been also leading a team of designers for a few years. My main focus areas when leading were:
Make sure that every designer is feeling good in the company and could develop themselves professionally.
Check that there is consistency across all projects.
Good collaboration between designers and PO, PM and developers.
Manage any conflicts between designers and the rest of the teams.
Facilitate workshops.
Hiring and recruitment.
5. Architect
My first passion since I was a child were skyscrapers so I studied Architecture in Madrid (Spain) and Venice (Italy).
I worked for 3 years in Madrid designing hospitals, like the one in the picture, that were built in different countries: Spain, Costa Rica, Montenegro.
The main focus was on the usability of the spaces with the help of the doctors.
